THEATER IS OUR WORK
Colectivo Zoológico is a theater company based in Santiago de Chile. We are a group of scenic artists who have been working for a decade on the basis of independent management and collective authorship. We collaborate together in search of an original scenic language that challenges the spectators and dialogues with the present of our contemporary world.
OUR PLAYS
We believe that theater is the art of staging. We care about what happens on stage when the performers relate to each other, to the space, to the objects and their images. We have created eight works so far. All of them involve the use of cameras and projectors to produce images in real time. This procedure intensifies those relationships. We are currently working on MIRAR, our ninth production.
